Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 96 oil leak

it appears that my 96 is leaking oil right behind my injection pump. at least thats were it appears to be wet. is there a seal in there or something? how difficult is it to fix?

If it's behind the IP, it could be the oil supply line to the pump. Give it a check. If not, it's probably the vacuum pump seals just below the IP.

would anyone have a diagram or pics i can look at so i can see what i am looking for?

The RED shows where the vacuum pump leaks. The oil supply line for the IP is on the back side of the IP between it and the head.
