I have a 96 Ram 2500 CTD, I just had Meinikee install a pair of front schocks made by Tuff country (SX-8000), and the upper bushings (in the engine bay) keep getting chewed up & come appart, I even replaced them with uretane bushings, and it still happens, and they only last about a week. I can tell there gone because it sounds like someone bouncing basketballs around under my hood when I go over bumps! I tried putting an extra washer under the bushing, which seems the bushings from self destroying but it makes the front suspension a little harsh. I called tuff country and they said I need that extra washer because someone at meinikee must have thrown out the factory washer/plate that went under the upper bushing. What do you guys think?
