Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Anyone done this? I have been searching and found some info on installing a g56 behind a 12v but those were nv4500 to g56 swaps.
My 97 RWD club cab has 190K on the auto and it is going.
So, will a g56 bolt up to the 12v without an adapter? How about the starter, and the output shaft to the driveshaft (I know I will have to shorten the driveshaft) or any other suggestions?
