I was pulling an empty 24' stock trailer on the flat in overdrive about 70. The air is on and I hear a click starting in the engine (Kinda like a valve). I'm about a minute to the off ramp and I shut the air off and start up the off ramp and it quits. I got it pulled over and smoke starts out the hood. I have oil every where and steam from the radiator.



I got it cooled off towed to a buddy's house. I started it yesterday and it will start but blowing stinky white smoke, rough idle, and very slow to pick up speed, blowing oil out the dip stick tube. All the vacuum lines seem ok. Any suggestions? Could I have lost the turbo?

Sounds like you may have poped a headgasket.

Thanks Josh - I really need that. I went and talked to two shops feeling a little more secure having your thoughts on the matter. I moved my Thread to 12 Valve Engine and Transmission (1994 - 1998) hoping this would be more appropriate.

Ya with the low power, and blowing oil out the dipsitck tube that points that way. The steam isn't helping any either.
