My question is, my 97 Auto was built without the factory lights due to the fact there wasn't clearence with the extra cooler up front, 5 speeds were built with them. Has anyone found the right combo of performance and ease of install to retrofit a CTD Auto with either fog or driving. I've done a few searches but have come up empty.

Thanks,

Fatboy.....

I responded to your post on the other thread, but maybe you should just go to a dealer who sells/installs PIAA and figure out what lights will suit you. Most of the 4wheel drive, off-road, and other specialty shops have PIAA displays, etc.

good luck.....

Fatboy,

There is a Mopar kit to put in the factory look Fog/Driving Lihgts in the front bumper for automatic transmission trucks. Check with your dealer's parts department.

I bought a set for my previously owned '97 3500 CC automatic transmission at the TDR National Rally in Mesquite, NV in October 1997. Painter's Dodge, St George, UT had a display there selling the kits. I don't have a part number. If I remember correctly, the light kit was about $125.

It requires removal of the fornt bumper since the grey plastic panels behind the bumper where the lights fit have to be replaced(part of the kit) with different panels. Everything fit, and the lights looked and operated just like the factory installation.
