2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 97 Power window question

The power window switch went out on the passenger side yesterday. Of course while the window was down. My new switch will not be here until Monday. My question is, is there a way to roll the window up manually? I don't want to drive it around all weekend w/ the window down. Thanx a lot.

Try swapping driver window switch, to up. Neither switch works?

You cant swap switches because you need the circuit thru both to make it go but... you could pull the door panel and run 12vdc right to the motor connector to put the window back up. Switch polarity if it tries to go down at first. I believe the connector is staked to the surface of the inner door just under the door panel.

O-kay I reversed the polarity at the switch and got the window to go up. Now my next question is does this mean switch is bad or motor? I have no idea when it comes to electrical gremlins. So any help will be appreciated.

The motor works it put the window up.
