Hello all

I have just bought a 97 quad cab. The rear slider window has been leaking. I cleaned the drain holes. Still leaking...water goes into channel and out end and to floor. The channel has slots in the middle that should drain but under the slots there are no holes or slots that it can drain out of. Just a flat rubber surface under the slots no holes or slots below them to let the water out. Almost seems like it’s the wrong seal for the channel.
Anyone else have experience with this?

Thank You for any advice

Ok so with all of the interior out of the truck. Found the leak. It was up in the passenger side top corner where the two cab parts are welded together. (There is a black piece of molding that runs in this grove all the way to the front of the cab). So that grove is where the water was getting in. Between the window seal and the metal The sealer that was used at the factory either just broke down or was not done properly. So I’m going to get the window taken out and reinstalled and sealed back right. Looks like a job for a window professional.
