Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 97 transmission problems

My 97 47 re auto is having some shifting problems from 1st to 2nd only after the truck have been started. Once started and going through the 1st and 2nd delayed sequence, it will shift normally. Turn the ignition off and start again, the same delayed shifting from 1st to 2nd happens. I changed the fluids, filter, gov pressure solenoid and gov pressure sensor. It still stalls in the 1 to 2 shifhting sequence. Need some help fellas Thanks Kyle

Does it do it more so when it's cold?

I'm not a transmission guy , what about adjusting the bands as long as your in there?

It happens evcery time I kill the engine and restart. I can run engine for hrs. with no problem after initial pull out, kill engine for 15 seconds, then it happens again for one sequence. Hot or cold doesnt make a difference. Seems like every time I kill the engine, it will take time to rebuild fluid pressure. Thanks Kyle

I adjusted the front bands yesterday with no successful response. Still stalling in the first 1-2 shift sequence. Thanks Kyle
