Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 98 47re 1st and rev only

rebuildt enine while it was out put a shift in from patc and their soleinoid replacement kit that is a billet shift valve body that uses gm soleinoids now it will only go in reverse and 1st and may be lock up im not sure if it is just slighly overrunng and you down shif from d to first you feel it engine brake. anything to look for in specific? thanks rod p. s. 98 12v 47re 4x4

changed the speed sensor and all is fine!
