Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 98.5 47RE the same as 01.5 47RE??

searched and read a ton but nothing exactly could tell me any differences. Anyone know what if any differences there are between a 98. 5 47RE and the 01. 5 47RE? Also, what year trucks did the 47RE start showing up?

Valve bodies have different electronics. Other than that I think they are very similar. The 1997 might have a better pump(more offset in the rotor pocket). Neutral switches are different. Other than that I think they are interchangeable.
