First post to TDR. I have a 98.5 1 ton dually 4x. Was leaving for work this morning and the headlights did not work and neither did the tail or side marker lights. They did last night when I shut it down. Fuses seem to be okay. This has not occurred before.

Only changes to truck in regard to lights is LED bulbs to replace std bulbs in cab. Put two LED pods mounted in rear bumper on a separate switch run directly to the battery.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

98.5 still has the push pull switch as I recall. Headlight switch has 99% chance of being the issue as mentioned above..

The switch carries the full current (20A+) and will eventually melt. You can buy a switch and connector with pigtails. Get some heat shrink tubing and practice your soldering skills.
