**98.5 missing at idle, after driving for awhile**

Still need help if anyone can.
Like the title says, 98.5 missing at idle, after driving for awhile. I changed the fuel filter, "bumped" the key to run the lift pump. When the fuel ran out the top of the filter assy, I tightened the nut on top, sealing the canister to the top of the fuel filter mount. Then I see it, the whip hose from the top of the FF assy to the underhood gauge was spraying a mist of fuel from a few spots on the hose. Replaced the whip hose and the leak was gone. Started the truck and the missing at idle was gone too.

Moral of this story, never overlook the basics. If fuel can leak out, air can leak in!

Well, Nuts! Today I drove The Mighty Dodge about 6 miles, got back home and the miss has re-appeared. The new hose is fine, no leaks. I did find that the quick disconnect on top of the fuel tank is leaking. Just one of them, however it is a constant Drip, drip, drip, drip. I guess I have to drop the tank and replace the O rings in the QD fitting. The metal lines are rusty too. Gonna be a long weekend. Pix to follow.
