Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Hey guys, I am installing an alarm in a 98 12valve.
I am having lots of trouble trying to figure out how the lock un-lock system works?????
I tried tapping the so called lock un-lock wires (orange w/purple and pink w/purple I think?) and the locks move a little (and pull lots of power!!) but nothing really happens.
I have gone as far as pulling the switch panel from the drivers door and applied power and ground to all of the pins and still get nothing, but when you use the switches all woks great??? I installed the same alarm in my 02 without any issues. What changed from 98 to 02?
This is driving me nuts!! So I would be very thankful for ANY help.
