Any one replaced them that can make my life easier? It is my son's Jeep. I've never owned a 4WD, so the front driveshaft/hub assy is a little intimidating. Any tips would be appreciated.
I rented the balljoint press from Autozone. Also, be sure to use antiseize on all metal to metal surface with the unit bearing(s). The next time you take it apart the unit bearing will go gently. Use only new cotter pins. Never ever reuse cotter pins. While you're at it replace any remaining factory cotter pins. They starting failing on my 93' YJ a few years ago from old age.
