Attention: TDR Forum Junkies For Sale – 1998 Dodge Quad Cab 5.9L Cummins 12 Valve, Long Bed 4X4, 5sp Manual, PW, PDL, Pwr Mirrors SLT Package. I have had several people tell me this is the Holy Grail Truck….. in my opinion, it has been a good truck, Holy Grail…. Eye of the beholder kind of thing. Although my pastor Uncle did bless it right after I bought it! One owner, non-smoker, I custom ordered this truck in fall of 1997. I have original window sticker. The 5 SP transmission was replaced last year, new transmission has less than 2K miles on it. Odometer is currently at 244K. I specifically ordered the truck with the 4.10 rear end thinking I was going to be pulling a lot of trailers. In retrospect, that was probably not necessary. Truck has a couple of small rust spots on the bottom of the door and directly behind the front tires, I will try to get photos to show the rust and dings. It has hit several deer (but it does have a nice grill guard). I would say truck is pretty straight, no accidents other than the aforementioned deer and a couple parking lot dings. Tailgate was replaced with OEM one after I forgot to drop the tailgate when unhitching the stock trailer. A/C blows really cold, especially in January in South Dakota! Heater, yes it has one of those…..cable might need adjusting to make it deliver warm air quicker (according to wife).
