Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 98 Wheels fit onto a 06?

Found a set of 19. 5" rickson wheels for a decent price. Would they fit on an 06 2500 if they came off of a 98 2500 ?

8 bolt wheel patterns are the same... . even on ford & chevy until ford changed over to a 7 bolt pattern.

huh? Ford didnt change to a 7 bolt pattern. The 7 bolt pattern is on thier lt duty F250's, they looked like a 1/2 ton with HD rear axles/springs and a few other goodies.



Ford changed to a metric 8 bolt pattern in the late 90's

So I take it yes the 98 wheels will fit on the 06?



I ask because I had a 01 F-350 that I tried fitting wheels off of a 1989 F-350 both had 8 lug but they did not align. Off by just enough to not get them on.
