Anybody had to replace the dust boots on there trucks. My son has a 99 2500 4x4 and he has already replace on dust boot on the tie rod end. Now one that is on the track bar(that comes down from the frame)is split and the other tie rod end boot is split. So that will be a total of 3 that has been replaced. He has around 110000. So far I have never had to replace them on anything I have owned over the years. Guess he was lucky and got some defective ones put in from the factory.

Over greasing the joints will tear boots. Two or three shots max is all you need. If grease is oozing out from under the rubber you've gone too far.
