Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 99 fuel filter housing change

I have a 1999 2500 auto 4x4. (had a cracked 53 block, putting in a new storm longblock cummins reman) I bought a 2000-2002 fuel filter housing and I'm trying to make some adapters for the wiring for the Fuel heater and the water in fuel sensor.

You could try "solder heat shrink connectors" with the old fuel filter housing wiring.

Went to dodge for the new conectors. Was told they were d/c and i would have to find a harnes at a junkyard... My next stop is at cummins. See if they have them. Has anyone done this mod before?

They (Cummins) should have a kit out in the shop with various connectors in it. I have several kits but don't have an FS1269 filter can here to test fit the harnesses.

If you strike out, let me know and I will call in a favor.



I started breaking down the engine harness in the books, but ran out of time this morning.
