Anyone out there know the part number for a 1999 oil dipstick?

My truck seems to be very low on oil, but when I compare the dipstick level to the dipstick in my father's '01, the level is in the safe area (the '01 has a much longer dipstick, in the same ISB engine block, oil pan, etc... ). The truck was in a front-end collision before I bought it, so I don't know if the wrong dipstick was used or what, when it was reassembled.

And, me being the idiot that I am some times, I didn't check the dipstick at the last oil change, even though this was a problem before. We found a leaking vacuum pump to gear case gasket, and changed that thinking it was the cause of the low oil level (but it did seem to have more oil in it than usual at the last oil change though).

part numbers

According to the latest Genos catalog they do take a different dipstick, 98. 5-00 is a 3935648 and the 01-02 is a 3937748.

There is a service bulltin 09-06-98 which to some trucks having incorrect dip stick. Incorrect p/n 3944594 correct p/n 3935648.
