99 Ram CTD Auto dies when accelerator is depressed

Hey guys another question for you. Friends truck just recently started having problems. A week ago the truck when started immediately revved up to 2000rpm and would not come down. So he was advised by a dealer replace the throttle position sensor which he did. Now, the truck will only idle and will die if you attempt to press the go pedal. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
