I'm considering exchanging my #5 plate with a #4. What I believe this would lead to is the need for other mods. such as turbo housing etc. See signature. Presently I can tow 7000 lbs. up relatively steep grades and the EGT's top out at 1050 deg. or so. The top end peformance of the #5 is great, but the low end is not much stronger than stock. Any thoughts, and is there more I should be concerned with than EGT's and a turbo housing? Thanks

The #4 fuels hard, if you get it you'll either have to back i up a little or buy a turbo. With mine in the stock position the EGT's are 1300 till max RPM were they PEG.

1050 degrees ... oh yea ... got plenty of room for more fuel. Oo. Keep adding fuel until you can't stand it anymore. :D

The #4 has a nasty low end profile. Great for towing. Been there, done that. ;)
