Gen 3 frame issues for custom GN hitch

Timbren overloads, good or bad?

I saw a 5th wheel pin hitch apparatus that really intrigued me. Does anyboby know what this system is called and who makes it? This thing had an air bag and a shock absorber built into its design and it looked like it might work. Does it really work to help reduce the joilting and shock rocking of a 5 th wheel that is the annoying part of traveling loaded? I have an 03 HO HD lwb 2500 with the firestone air suspension but it is still not good enough if I can do better. "Yea", I know if I want luxury get a bus but I can't afford one and I really like the trailer that I have. Any comments please?:)

Air Hitch

I just pulled my 36' Montana from Fl to Ohio and then on to Calif. (4256 mi) I have a Trailer Saver Air Hitch. Wouldn't pull without it!!! Yes it really saves the coach and the truck, even when the road is choppy you can see the air ride hitch taking the shock and the coach riding smoothly. When the road is smooth other than the weight it is like there is no trailer behind you. Happy towing, Dave

I don't have the Trail air box, but do have the Easy Rider air hitch, and as the gentleman with the Trailer Saver stated, the trailer moves independently of the truck. Going down the Interstate, you can see the pin box moving up and down with the truck remaining level. No more jarring from the trailer. They're a little pricey, but worth it.
