Hi there, I have here a 01 3500 with the normal stuff on it, 4 inch ex, air cleaner, smarty, air dog, so yesterday it starts hesitating smoking cel light on, temp guage all over the map from 0 to red and in between, and with the codes 1295 0117 0217 1488 0122 1475 0522 1693. I unplugged the chip, and no change, checked the temp with thermal gun and its ok, looked at batt terminals and all is well, I did note the idle high and could keep it running somewhat smooth on cruse. Any thoughts would be welcome, also I'm still looking for a wiring diagram for my seat heaters. Thanks again.

1295 no 5 volts to APPS
0117 ECT sensor voltage too low
0217 Decreased engine performance due to engine overheat condition
1488 Auxilliary 5 volt supply outlet too low
0122 Throttle Position Sensor voltage too low
1475 Auxilliary 5 volt supply voltage high
0522 Oil Pressure Circuit low

You certainly have a lot going on here. Need to thoroughly check all of your battery connections including grounds. Load test batteries. If everything checks out I would suspect you have an ecm related issue. Would be best to get ahold of a drbii scanner to confirm.

Check the ground first ! Just went through this on mine.

Thought it was ECM.
Thanks for the reply, I was starting to think I smelt bad, I only received one other response. Well with that I can say that my other posts have been ignored as well, and I thought with four diesel dodge trucks and with all the authority of some of the members I would have got more response. Oh well thanks for your reply, the trucks been parked but ill get to it soon, thanks again. John

Have you checked any of your grounds? Load tested batteries? Located a DRB scanner? These are some of the first steps you need to take as they are the easiest, cheapest, and often the cause of odd electrical issues. Once you dig into it, update with what you have done or any other helpful info, and I'm sure you will receive more help.
Good luck.

Well, took a break from this now I'm back, now it blows the main fuse and has dead throttle, I'm thinking lots of insurance and flame.
