I just noticed the other day on my trip for Thanksgiving my A/C wasnt blowing as hard as it used to. I had my girlfreind with me and she takes about 20 freakin pillows and blankets for the trip so I figured somthing may have got sucked up in it, but a buddy of mine is having the same problem on his 06.

So, I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem before I take it to the dealer and they pull out some of my GFs junk and I have to pay for it.

Don't our trucks have cabin filters? I have an 06 and according to the shop manual/cd my truck should have one. If so, if it is "dirty/clogged", perhaps that is one cause to look at.

I doubt it, the truck has never been off pavement. It lives in the city and never ever gets dirty. No leaves anywhere, there is just nothing to clog anything up.

Uh oh, may be another broken blend door. If you change the temp from cold to hot or set it to recirc, can you hear a door move or a change in the sound of the air flow?

My evaporator had frozen up. Had it on defrost and had the AC button pushed.

Turned off the truck and wow a river was flowing out of the drain, after a few

minutes. Had to thaw it out. No Problem since then.

check out your glove box. take any loose papers out or secure them. Have had customers rigs suck loose papers or napkins in when they are on recirc and plug the squirl cage and reduce air flow and sometimes cause a vibration.
