I think door is stuck or actuator not working could it be a fuze or vacumum actuator . No air from outlets except the deforst at the windshield. what to do without taking the dash and all apart. ? Thanks for any help.
Mine was doing the same thing you describe. It turned out it was a vacuum leak. I was working down by the vp and unknowing disconnected the vacuum line. I found it today plugged it back in and now air comes out all the vents like it should. Let me know if you need me to take a picture. Good luck.
Solved my problem today. Found that the vacuum line had fallen down on the exhaust & burned in two. I picked up a short piece of hose from AutoZone... about 4"... . and they didn't charge me. I squared off the ends of the burnt hose & used the hose from AZ as a splice by sliding it over the to two ends. Hooray... AC working normal now!
The vacuum line that goes into the firewall on the passenger side needs to go over the heater hoses so the line doesn't get damage by the exhaust manifold.
