Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) A/C compressor

Anyone know why when I turn my A/C on it makes more of a pop rather than a click. It only does it when I first start my truck in the morning, I think it's something to do with the engine not being warm, but I have no idea and it worries me a little

I am not sure if this will help, but if the noise is coming from under the dash it is the door that switches from cold to hot. Mine started makeing this noise then I had to replace the switch motor.

I don't think the noise is coming from the cab, cause I can only hear it if my music is down, and am driving slow, I can't hear it as well if the windows are up
