Can anyone tell me how to diconnect the bottom tube coming from the a/c condensor. I can't figure out how to get that spring inside of the nipple out of the way to disconnect the two pieces of tubing:confused: . I have the new one ready to go in as soon as I can get past this little problem. Is there a special tool for this?? TIA!

Yes there is a special tool to release the spring. It looks kinda like a piece of tubing split to fit over the line. I have heard of releasing the spring with a thin piece of plastic or shimstock bent around the line. The tools are available at most auto parts stores and others. bg

THANKS

BG, Thanks for the info. I will try to locate the tool or I may even try the plastic trick. I tried cardboard, but it was not sturdy enough. Thanks again.
