a/c control

I did a search and can't find a related thread so here it goes. I'm having a problem with my fan control on heat and a/c. I turn off my truck and if the a/c or heat is left on it will cont. to blow until I turn it to the off position. has anyone had this problem and is it just the control that I need to replace or what? And if so does anyone know the part number?
