A/C electronic temp. cycling switch

Looking for a "electronic temperature cycling switch"(part of a/c system). Positioned on the expansion valve (fire wall) of the air conditioning system of my 1992. Believe the factory part number is #56005783 No luck at local supply houses. Thanks

I have something like that, maybe the same thing. I believe it came off a 87 Chrysler. It ties into the AC clutch circuit and has a probe that goes into a well in the suction line. Does that sound like what you are looking for? bg

Yes indeed, that sounds like it. Very good description. My manual describes it similarly.

When you install the tube be sure to add some temperature transfer grease to ensure it works correctly
