Anybody else have this problem?: When fan speed is set to anything but the slowest position, I am hearing a sharp thud or clicking coming from the vents. Sounds like a bearing going out maybe, and will probably just take it to the dealer, but was curious if anyone had any ideas for a quick fix.

This sound only happens when I have the air coming out of the dash vent, floor vents don't do it.

Thanks!

Thud?

Could it be the "flapper" door or is it consistanly doing it? Might be a low vacume situation and the flap is not holding in the vent position? (leaking?)

When I change to dash vents its a one time "thud" as the vacune changes the direction of air (could be you driving it toooo fast for the door to close ;) !!

SOTSU!!

Mine will do it sometimes in the fall, leafs get sucked in. Blower motor isn't very hard to remove and check out. If the dealer just has to clean out leafs warranty won't cover it.
