A/C fan running with ignition off

This has happened twice now. Once with the truck off and the key out of the ignition, once with the truck off and the key pulled out slightly (to keep from dinging). The A/C in recirc position and the fan on pos. 2 or 3. I didn't notice it when I exited the truck but when I get back in I notice the fan is running. This happened to anyone else?

The ignition switch is bad do a search and you will find a few post about it. The switch developes a short where the wire harness plugs into inside the stearing column part cost me about 25 dollars and about and hour of my time to replace. I could probably replace one now in about 15mins since I know what all to remove.
