2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission A/C goes hot for a few seconds on deceleration?

This is wierd. Had the truck do this to me once about 3 weeks ago, but this weekend it got pretty constant. When I slow down to come to a light or something, the A/C goes hot for about 4-5 seconds, then returns to cold. Does the same thing decelerating on the highway.



Any chance the hot/cold selector valve has decided to move on it's own?

I am not sure what year truck you have, but it sounds like you are loosing vacuum, as in brakes or exhaust brake.

My 01 will not blow cold air at all at idle, but once thetruck begins moving all is well! Ideas?

Truck is an 01 ETH. Brakes are working fine.
