Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
After melting my 3rd headlamp switch, I talked to my Dodge dealer and they said that might truck "might" need a recall that had a correlation with the A/C being on and burning up the headlight switch. They said I'd have to pay to have my truck evaluated and if it needed the recall, then it would be done for free. Suposively, my truck is just a few VIN # out of the recall range.
The switch always burned up when the A/C was on so if I call D/C, will they just go ahead and authorize the recall or should I just take the truck in and pay?
