My condenser is leaking it has been leaking for awhile. I am just to busy to take car of it. For awhile I would just put some freon in it and it would work for a couple of weeks. Now its a couple of days. The berings on the compressor look to be shot now you can hear them chatter and the pulley seems to wobble. I called the dodge complaint line and got nowhere. Is there anything I can do. My local mechanic has seen over a dozen cases of this. To me that means it is way to common. I have the issue of TDR that walks you through the fix, which I don't have time to do now. But I still think that it should be addressed by chrysler.

Any comments?

Some things are just designed poorly. And the less important it is to the operation of the vehicle, especially if it isn't a safety factor, the less important it is for the manufacturer to take care of.

Get a reman compressor and condensor and be glad it isn't the evaporator.
