I'm in the process of putting an intercooler on my '90. My current A/C hose is too short for the '93 condenser. The dealer lists two part numbers for the '93 hoses. Does anyone know what the correct hose number is? Did they upgrade the hose or were there different options? Can someone compare a '90 to a '93 and tell me if there is a difference in the fittings that connect to the condenser and/or the compressor? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

PS. Is there any first gen owners and/or clubs in the Sacramento area? Finally settled in up here and looking for other dieselheads.

Dscholz,

This is something that I will have to deal with also, however I haven't had the time to work on it yet. We put a '96 engine in the '90, so this is one of the little details we haven't addressed yet:(

I did notice that the '90 has the supply and return coming out of the side of the compressor versus the back of the compressor as it is on our '93.

update

I have the two part numbers the dealer gave me. The first one is P/N 55035761 - the dealer said the number was printed on the hose. The second one is P/N 55035759. There is only a $12 difference in the price and was wondering which one is correct?

Thanks

Dan

Dscholz, I will be up in Sacramento this weekend 1-5 to have a DTT convertor installed, with my 89 truck that I have put all the 93 core support and crossflow radiator if interested in looking and seeing what has to be done.

Email me -- email address removed -- or call me if you still have the number.
