Just a heads-up to others.

Noticed yesterday that my A/C just wasn't what it ought to be. The only A/C problems I've had was the compressor clutch at @130K miles. Never had to add any gas, so I went to put a little more gas in it last night and noticed that the two lines going to the condenser were rubbing together where they cross right there between the radiator and the overflow tank so I cut a little piece of hose and put it between them then I hooked up my freon hose to the quick-connect fitting and heard a leak. To my surprise it was leaking where they rubbed together and not at the fitting!

Better check yours out before it happens to you!

A few years back, I caught mine before a leak happened, but it did rub away the metal quite a bit. I carefully bent them apart and all has been well.

I don't know how mine got together. Like I said, a little over 300K miles and they just now get together??? The closest I've been to them is changing the oil and how many times have I done that without this problem? Crazy... ...
