A/C Noise

Recently I've heard a loud thump or bang when I push the A/C button. It's only happened a few times, usually after leaving the truck sit for a few days without running. After it happens I can turn the A/C on and off without the noise. The truck is a '04. Has anyone else had this happen?

Its normal. If you do a search on here for AC clunk you will find that it has been discussed many a time.
