When I turn the a/c on the driver side blows cold air but the passenger side is warm. And I don’t have dual climate control. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

Yep, and you aren'r going to like what mine was. Mine was doing this and I figured my A/C needed a recharge, so they did that first. While a little better it was still warmer on the passenger side. Then suddenly it started blowing hot.

Long story short, I had to have the blend door replaced (which required the dash to be removed). In addition, I had my blend door replaced (I could only get air from my vents)

Parts were about $80 for the two doors, $610 for the labor. Much cheaper than most everyone else has reported.

You'll get more input, I'm sure.

My truck is sitting on the service lot now waiting to have the recirc door replaced on Monday. My Warranty expires on the 17th. Just snuck that one in!!

Shaughn. Another problem area could be the plumbing for the a/c itself. When the unit runs low on R134 the system will shut down the passenger side (no cold air). This has happend to my truck twice. The first time I took it to an a/c shop in Lake havasu City to have it recharged, when the owner of the shop recharged it he also put dye in the system. I found where the freon was leaking and thought it would last at least through the summer..... no way

the A/C maniforld hose set from Chrysler was 148. 00 plus install and recharge.

Before you go spending $600 find an a/c shop you trust and have them check the system for leaks. my total bill for parts and labor was less than $265

I've seen alot of these working in a dealership and i would say there is a 90% chance that your blend door is broken and the recirc door probably isn't far from it. Make sure both are replaced when it gets done, have them check you heater and evap cores while they are in there. Both doors with actuators are about $35 a piece (both have been redesigned to keep it from happening again) and labor charges are normally around 6 hours. If you can get your a/c evaced and recharged it is somewhat easy to do yourself just one hidden bold above the steering column.
