it seems compressor is working but no difference in temp in either line?----tried adding freon but did not help??---thanks Ron

What does the fill guage say when you add R-134? Mine was low, and as BG said the compressor would shut off. I added freon (R-134) and it was perfect. A week later it went bad again, turned out I had a leak. Works fine now.



Are you sure your'e not losing your charge through a leak?

a/c not working

the guage on the refill kit stays in the red like it is not allowing any freon to enter system, B. G. thought maybe compressor not working at all or not pumping--thanks

Yeah, BG was right. The compressor isn't running. Try to check the switch and try thr paper clip jumpstart trick.
