My a/c quit working. For the last month the a/c worked fine (cold) except that it would quit blowing on a regular basis and when this happened, I would have to turn it to fan only and after a few moments it would start blowing cold air as if it were on a/c and then it would get warm and when I would turn it back to a/c, it would work fine till it did it again. it was like it was froze up and the fan would thaw it out and then it would work properly again. Today, it doesn't work at all. I have checked the clutch on the compressor, and it works fine and the compressor is less than 2 years old. Fuses all seem to be in proper order. What do I do now?? Is it possible something that I could fix myself, or head for the big Money?

You may have a problem with the cycling switch on the accumulator. It is supposed to keep the evap from icing, but can go bad. Disconnect and jump across the connector. If compressor engages and starts to cool, then replace switch. Can be done without losing charge as there is a schrader valve in place.
