Im about to tackle rebuilding my lines and accumulator hopeing that it's not the evaporator behind the dashboard, i'd sure like to talk with someone who's done this before as I have zero experience and I am on a huge learning curve here, I'd also like to know if there's any aftermarket fans out there to boost my CFM output once it's going again and how much trouble that is, all replies welcome, Thank you !

I know that there was an article in one of the issues that dealt with this. Sorry, don't remember where, but you could search and find it since many issues are now digital. There are also several posts where people explain what they did.

If you replace the evap, replace the heater core at the same time.

You will need special tools to do this properly - do you have any of them? Maybe you can borrow them from a friend. IE: gauges, vacuum pump, leak detector at a minimum.

Sometimes you can do the work and then pay a shop to do the recharge. Some shops will do that.

Fans - if you fan is old, just replacing it might be all you need - they wear out. No larger CFM fans that I'm aware of. Also, you could (probably do) have blockage on the evap or heater core, causing restricted air flow.

Ask away - I'll do my best to help
