Maybe I overestimate the market but in my family and friends here locally there is a definite demand for a lower stall torque convertor without buying a 4000 dollar trans or a 1300. 00 70 lb. billet behmouth. We are not looking to make big horsepower maybe a VA or an edge ez, we are not burning up stock convertors we just want lower stall for mileage , less noise and improved power transfer. Company A has a an excellant low stall convertor for approx. 1000. 00 but will not sell it to you unless you go thru the trans with their components to the tune 4000. 00 company B will sell you a 1300. 00 billet convertor seperately but it still has loose stall and will take it's toll on the front pump and flexplate. Company C has come out with a steel stator low stall convertor for a reasonable price but the jury is still out till they get more in the field I posted about it earlier in another thread and got more than a few let us say less than complimentary private emails about my motives. I could be wrong about the market size but I think their is a big fat niche out there waiting on someone to fill it and the company that does is going come out big.
