2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission A Couple questions?

First off on my 99 today coming home the ABS/Brake light came on, I looked and dont think I have 4 wheel antilocks so would it be the rear sensor on top of the back axle? I did a search in the forums and that seemed to be the likely culprit. How expensive are they? :eek: to late to call anyone today. Second while looking at front wheel I noticed my drivers side axle seal is leaking how difficult is that to fix? What parts will I besides the seal? Third my a/c compressor is kicking on and off about every three seconds already checked the freon its full so woul it be the compressor clutch? How expensive is that to replace? I feel like my truck is falling out from underneath me. Thanks in advance for the help.
 
On the front axle I am assuming that the truck is a 4X4, replacing the axle seal is a PITA and needs the correct tools do to the job right. Also note what usually takes out an axle seal is a bad axle u-joint or failing wheel bearing. Last time I fixed an axle seal, I replaced the u-joint, wheel bearing and then took the truck in and had the seal replaced. There is now an aftermarket front wheel bearing replacement that allows you to go back to repackable wheel bearings and lockouts, at $350 a side for OEM wheel bearing I am giving it consideration the next time one fails on my truck ( I have replaced 3 wheel bearings so far after 197,000) :{.

As for the AC, IF your R134 pressure is right, then it sounds like the orifice tube/expansion block is plugged causing your compressor to quick cycle. To repair you need a new expansion block and receiver dryer, you MUST pull a vacuum of 28 bars on the AC system for at least 30 minutes after opening it. Also check the expansion block for compressor debris before reassembling the AC system, IF the compressor is failing best to deal with it then. Remember to add the correct oil and amount when replacing any AC parts, there is a list in the OEM service manual of how much oil to add for each part replaced, (DO NOT add too much oil)There has been a lot of shade tree attempts to fix this issue and most end up wiping out the compressor.
