a few question all at once???

First My truck has 70k on it all stock except gauges and transfer pump. Recently took a trip towed a trailer small by size not sure of the weight but the truck kept slowing on all the grades and i dont think the grades were very steep. got to my destination and it would do the same thing without the trailer. Boost and piro all seem normal. The truck has a walbro fuel system. any ideas please? Also I would like to get a smarty for my 03 HO why the lower HP on max settings for the 03?

What were your engine RPM doing?

We've noticed a couple of things when these trucks have trouble building hp... Clogged fuel filters won't allow the correct amount of fuel, thus limiting performance...

We've also had some air pressure leaks in the clean air side of the turbo system... We had the dealer do some work on our 04, and after we had problems building hp... I don't remember what they did, but it required the removal of one of the hoses and of course they left the clamp loose... We don't have gauges, but a quick inspection found the loose clamps...

RPM's remained rather constant until the trany down shifted. if i had air pressure leaks would it show on the boost gauge as lower boost?
