Now that I'm able to post I would like to ask a few questions. I was wondering with the mods that I have will this cause defueling? If so is there a way to fool the computer with out buying a box? I looking at the TST but it will be a little while because I just bought a new camper. Also on the TST is it worth buying the box with the gauges built in to the display? :)

I'm still not to sure what Ted was running into on those tests. It seems to me that you would have to do mods that increased your boost to cause defueling. My boost level never changed with the addition of exhaust or air box mods. Maybe it's because it IS defueling, however I now have a box that does boost fooling even in the off position and my boost levels are still the same as stock. Maybe this disproves the theory!

thanks for the info guys the thread was interesting though confusing. Is there anyone who can clarify this. or do I really need it with my current mods?

What you have will not cause any abnormal defueling, only rpm in your case. What you have will not cause enough boost to defuel. I would get the TST and with the gauges built in. The reason is so you can use the defueling part if the EGT's get too hot. You have to have the pyrometer part to do that.

On 3rd gens boxes are required to boost fool the computer, these parimeters are programmed into these boxes to do this, TST, DD's True Torque Power Module, Bully dog,Edge, etc, no one has a map sensor/boost fooler for these 3rd gens
