I have a `97 3500. It appears to be leaking red fluid from right behind the brake master cylinder. The part where the master bolts on to. I think the system is called hydro boost... for the brakes. Does it take atf? What kind of money can I plan on spending for this piece? What is a decent manual for this? Haynes or what? What are the best front shocks for this beast? Thanks for the help!! :)

Manuals

JR,

Haynes service manuals have some good pictures but not all their info is correct. I think the service manual from Chrysler is the best and the one from Chrysler covers EVERYTHING. Go to techauthority to purchase one.

I have both the Haynes and the Chrysler service manuals, can't have to much info when your are trying to fix something.

On the shocks:

I've been really happy w/ the Bilsteins. Nice and tight. Maybe too much for some, but I like em. Would love a set of the big firestone air-bags at all 4 corners, but that's whole 'nother story. Take home message: can't go wrong w/ Bilsteins for the money. Bought mine online for ~$60 ea delivered. Do all 4.
