My '03 305/555 6spd has BSM 50hp injectors, Air Dog 100, South Bend street dual disk, Mopar HD air panel in the stock airbox, and TST Powermax R49. In the works is a Smarty Jr and CP3 by TCDiesel. My goal is smooth, useable power for daily driving and occasional towing. I have posted my dissatisfaction with the stock HE341 turbo in the past. Recently, I received opinions about a compressor wheel upgrade. I also reviewed several posts about swapping in a HE351. Bottom line is, I'm wanting a little more air in a way that I can piece together "on the cheap". I'm in no great hurry to work on a truck that only sees 7-10K miles per year. About a year ago, I almost pulled the trigger on a used Killer B. Now I'm considering trying to swap in a HE351. I would also consider having "custom" work done to my HE341. I'm not building a rocket sled, just a mild sleeper and I'd like to benefit from others trial and error to dial mine in the first time around...and with the satisfaction of doing it economically.
Current experience and advice will be greatly appreciated. Please ask any questions if there is any info I have left out...and also if you have parts for sale
