Where to take my truck in St. louis mo

I've talked to several of the field experts and got some really good advice but, it's still there. Keep in mind it's on the stock software. I have PPE's dual kit.

It mainly does it when the rpm's are low. I can be driving down the road say at 45mph, step on the peddle slightly to gain speed and get lots of rattle. Once the boost and rpm's are built it goes away ??

It doesn't do it while idling, my rail pressure is good through the rpm range, my feed pressure is good, my injectors have been checked and are good. As far as I can tell, no air getting in or fuel leaks.

Possible causes... .

bad FCA ( ruled out )

to much feed pressure ( ruled out )

MP-8 ( ruled out )

aftermarket software ( does it on stock )

bad electronic box for Dmax pump ( possible, gotta call )

timing off ( not sure how to deal with that in the stock ECM )

bad fuel ( ruled out )

bad ECM communication ( idunno )

If anyone has a clue... please feel free to post your comments

I've seen/heard something similar on another dual CP3 pumped truck.

Is it a rattle or kind of a vibration and scraping/rubbing kind of sound.

Could it be the belt slipping on the second pump pulley trying to turn it from the lower RPM's? It definitely doesn't squeal like a belt, but there is a noise.

yeah, I hear it's a common thing but, can't figure out what will fix it. I don't believe it's the belt. It really sounds like a gasser with valve clatter or bad gas except not as loud. I suppose it could be timing knock but, I just don't think that's it. Especially since it does it on the stock software.
