This just happened to a fellow officer of a TDR member in San Antonio, recently. I missed out on the original story of this most recent loss, but I hate it when this happens. One of my best friends is an Orange County Sheriff's Deputy. You guys be careful out there!

Another good guy gone. This country is being overrun with violence, crime, and I'll even throw in politics. I wonder what the country willl be like in another 10 years, pretty scary if ya think about it!

Kills me that the motto "To protect and to serve" is completly dissreguarded and re~written in the Evil eye and taken to the extreme such as this case . Looking out for someones safety and own well being then being the victim of unbridled hatetred twards what... ... someone diong the "right thing?" Man oh man I fear for the future and I thought I would never sound like my father at the age of 28 but man as a society something has to be done about this sick Glorification of the "Bad A$$" image that has become mainstay in Songs , Movies , even Friggin CARTOONS! against the police. Hey I'm no angel my self but I for the most part have nothing but respect for police Man sorry for the venting but I just think something's gotta give.

Sorry to here. This stuff is happening to much. My neighbor three doors down was killed in the line of duty one year ago and left his wife with five kids under six. (they had triplets).

Scott, I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss in "Your family" , as a former volunteer fireman I have experienced a loss of "our own", it takes something from every family member.

May You get strength from God and each other in the days ahead.
