Today I removed all banjo bolts and replaced them with 3/8 barbs. I also moved the oem lift pump to the rear infront of the tank.

I used 50psi rubber fuel line and metric adaptors to thread into lift-pump,injection-pump,factory fuel filter. Had to drill out adaptors because they were only 1/4's on the one end.

I also ran rubber line from rear and did away with oem fuel supply line.

This is what I saw.

Cold idle 15. 5psi

Hot idle 14

70 mph 13. 5 no wind flat.

WOT. 10psi with all mods turned on. this was from idle to govener.

My lift pump has 2k on it so it is almost new.

I screwed-up and didn't take the before WOT but idle was the same.

The next step is to put in a relay because I don't lke the Mickey-mouse gauge of factory wire used. IT is relay ready with 12g on + and 14 on neg.

The fuel is also being pushed through a primary filter.

Anybody else seen these results without dual pumps?

I am not bombed as far as some but it is no pooch as far as the maxipads and powerchokes go.

Glad to hear that it worked out for you. I am thinking of doing the same thing after I get my lift pump replaced under warranttee.

Would you mind putting it back so you can get the pre- readings? :D

cold idle15 psi

hot idle 16 psi
